Cuong leads the CRI Research Group. He won the Best Paper Award at the conference Robotics: Science and Systems in 2012, and was part of the prize-winning team at the Airbus Shopfloor Challenge in 2016.

Cuong is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at NTU (Singapore). He is an alumnus of École Normale Supérieure, rue d’Ulm (France), and holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience.
